CRC Etch-10 300g Red Oxide Vinyl Etch Primer
CRC Etch-10 is a high-performance Red Oxide Vinyl Etch Primer designed to provide excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance on a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metal surfaces. It is ideal for key-coating bare aluminium, stainless steel, brass, copper, galvanised metal and other prepared metal surfaces before applying a decorative topcoat.
The durable vinyl resin formulation provides a flexible, protective coating designed to withstand harsh environments where water may be present. CRC Etch-10 can be overcoated with most standard decorative paint systems for metals.

Applications:
CRC Etch-10 is suitable for use on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals where strong adhesion and corrosion protection are required. It is particularly suited to boat or vehicle building, industrial manufacturing and fabrication.
Surface Preparation:
- Remove signs of corrosion using a wire brush, emery paper or similar
- Clean the surface with CRC Brakleen or a suitable degreaser if required
- Where possible, abrade the surface using a disc grinder, wire brush or sandpaper
- Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application
Directions:
- Shake the can until the agitator ball moves freely, then continue shaking for at least one additional minute.
- Hold the can approximately 25cm from the surface.
- Apply using smooth, even strokes to a clean, dry surface.
- Continue applying until the desired coverage is achieved.
- After spraying, turn the can upside down and press the button until only pressure escapes to clear the valve.
