You are however welcome to return the item if required for exchange or refund excluding shipping costs within 14 days and in its original condition and packaging.
Change of mind goods / unwanted SmartWeb order goods: If the need arises, you are welcome to return the item if it is unused, in its original saleable condition and packaging, and with proof of purchase based on the following detailed terms:
- You may request an exchange to the value of the purchase price of the goods up to 28 days after purchase. This can be arranged via our SmartWeb team or conveniently at any of our 5 Smart marine Superstores if you prefer. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
- You may request a refund up to 14 days after purchase. Shipping costs will not be refunded. Some items have subsidised shipping rates or free shipping so the costs incurred to the company to ship the order will be removed from the refund total. Please enquire with the Smart Web Team for this shipping cost price prior to confirming your order. Please note there may be a restocking fee incurred for items that have been ordered in to fill the order.
Clearance Items: Products identified and advertised as clearance will not be accepted if returned, unless faulty.
Visible Defects: Our team inspect all items that leave our stores. Please also inspect the items delivered to ensure they are in new condition, without defects or damage. Any visible concerns with your product needs to be reported within 24 hours of delivery otherwise a warranty or insurance claim may not be possible.
Warranty Issues: On the rare occasion that you think a product purchased from our website is faulty and under warranty, please contact the Smart Web Crew immediately. Please email email@example.com regarding returns of online orders. If the smart crew deems the product as a potential warranty claim the item will need to be returned to below address with a covering letter containing your details and stating the issue plus any other information relevant to the warranty claim. Sending photos will help speed up your remedy.

Once we have received the product it will be assessed internally and/or sent to the distributor for warranty analysis. If the product is found to be a manufacturing fault at first instance we will repair, replace or give full refund at our discretion. If the item was purchased instore at one of our 4 branches, simply contact the store directly.
