Squid Jigs

Shop squid jigs online at Smart Marine, with Japanese-designed egi from Yamashita and Shimano. Squid fishing is easy to get into from wharves, rocks or the boat, and fresh squid makes one of the best baits going for snapper and kingfish.

Our range includes Yamashita Egi-Oh F, Search and Live jigs, and Shimano Sephia Clench FlashBoost egi in 3.0 and 3.5 sizes, in natural, bright and glow colours. Glow jigs are a favourite after dark, when squid gather under wharf and boat lights. Cast out, let the jig sink, then work it back with sharp lifts and pauses. Most squid grab it as it sinks between lifts.

New to squidding? Our Black Magic and Holiday squid jig packs are an easy way to start. Keep your jigs organised in a Shimano Sephia egi wallet or Ocean Angler squid jig box, and use a Yamashita Ika Shime tool to dispatch squid quickly and keep them fresh.

Match your jigs with a squid egi rod and reel set or squid rod, spool up with light braid and leader, and see our bait and berley range for more ways to catch your next feed.
