The Okuma Safyre 4000 Spinning Reel combines smooth performance, strength and corrosion-resistant components in a versatile reel designed for freshwater and inshore saltwater fishing.
Oversized HDG+ High-Density Gearing and a precision machine-cut brass pinion gear provide increased strength and durability, while the Flite Drive System reduces friction between the main shaft and pinion for a smoother, lighter retrieve. Okuma’s Gear Stabilising System (GSS) provides additional support to the pinion gear for improved gear stability.
A multi-disc Carbonite drag system delivers smooth, consistent stopping power, backed by a 7BB + 1RB stainless-steel bearing system. The Hydro Block II body provides IPX-3 splash protection, while Cyclonic Flow Rotor (CFR) technology helps reduce moisture retention inside the reel.
Finished with a rigid machined aluminium screw-in handle and a machined two-tone anodised aluminium spool, the Safyre 4000 is built to deliver dependable performance cast after cast.
