Daiwa Bait Junkie Risky Critter 3" – Yabbie UV
The Daiwa Bait Junkie Risky Critter is a compact creature bait designed to imitate small inshore prey and microbait. Developed by Daiwa anglers Tom Slater and Kris Hickson, the Risky Critter features a combination of forward- and rear-facing legs, claws, wings and curled rear legs that create a natural, quivering action as the lure sinks and moves along the bottom.
The Risky Critter is particularly suited to New Zealand inshore fishing, with Daiwa highlighting its effectiveness for grazing snapper and trevally. It can also be trimmed down and used as a trout nymph for dead-drifting through likely freshwater areas.
