The Jarvis Walker FST 8000 is built for tackling heavy New Zealand surf and targeting big snapper, kahawai, and kingfish. It pairs a rugged, saltwater-ready construction with a smooth retrieve, making it a reliable workhorse when you're battling big fish from the bricks or the beach.
With a solid 11.7kg max drag, it has plenty of grunt to turn the heads of hard-fighting fish. The alloy body and spool keep the overall weight down without sacrificing durability. A screw-in CNC metal handle and oversized EVA power knob give you a solid, direct feel during heavy fights, while the thick bail wire and smooth 4+1 stainless bearings with instant anti-reverse deliver clean retrieves and crisp hooksets every time.
