The Ocean Angler Handbrake Sea Anchor is a premium parachute-style drogue designed to slow your boat for controlled drift fishing, helping you present lures and baits more effectively even in windy conditions. Delivering significantly more stopping power than traditional funnel-style sea anchors, the Handbrake provides a smoother, more controlled drift so you can spend more time in the strike zone.
Constructed from tough, high-visibility heavy-duty canvas with durable parachute cords, the Handbrake is built to withstand demanding marine conditions. A built-in Anchor Damper reduces sudden loading and helps keep the chute stable, while a small float prevents the drogue from spinning. The complete system packs neatly into the included storage bag for easy transport and storage. Reflective baitfish flash panels are sewn onto the chute to help attract baitfish beneath your boat while drifting.
Available in three sizes to suit boats from 3m to 9m, the Ocean Angler Handbrake is designed and tested in New Zealand for local fishing conditions.
