Every model in the lineup features a purpose-built blank tuned for specific demands, whether that is pinpoint casting accuracy, lure responsiveness, or raw pulling power. The range covers the full spectrum of modern inshore tactics, from flicking lightweight softbaits and micro-jigs right through to twitching aggressive minnows and launching heavy topwater baits over 100g. Constructed with Shimano's flagship Spiral X and Hi-Power X technologies, the blanks strike the perfect balance between featherlight handling and crisp structural power.

Technologies:

SPIRAL X

Uses a three-layer blank structure with inner and outer carbon tape wound diagonally in opposite directions around vertical fibres. Shimano says this increases compression and torsional rigidity without adding unnecessary weight, improving power transmission during casting and fish fighting.

HI-POWER X

Diagonally wrapped carbon tape forms X-patterns around the blank to resist twisting, enhance overall strength and provide sharper, more precise rod control.

CARBON MONOCOQUE

A hollow carbon-moulded grip designed to reduce weight and efficiently transmit vibration to the angler's hand. Shimano states it provides 30% greater sensitivity compared with traditional rod handles.

CI4+

Shimano's carbon-fibre-reinforced material combines low weight with high rigidity. Shimano states CI4+ is 2.5 times more rigid than the original CI4 material and can be used to reduce the size and weight of components such as reel seats.
