Heavyweight components engineered for maximum depth impact.

Engineered specifically for targeting hapuka, bass, and bluenose in deep offshore trenches, the Shimano Deep Water Rig is built to handle the extreme demands of bottom fishing. Constructed on a heavy-duty 400lb mainline, it features crimped crane swivels leading to 400lb droppers shielded in high-visibility lumo tubing. At the business end, two massive 16/0 offset circle hooks deliver self-setting power and reliable jaw holding during long, heavy-strain hauls.

To draw strikes in pitch-black depths, the rig comes equipped with an integrated water-activated green light that triggers automatically upon submersion. Reinforced crimped loops, a 300lb ball-bearing clip swivel at the top, and a large bottom loop for your breakaway sinker complete a rugged, dependable terminal setup ready for heavy ocean currents and deepwater predators.

Features:

Heavy-duty 400lb mainline and droppers
Two 16/0 offset circle hooks for secure hook-ups
