Cetol Marine is a high performance hard wearing one pack satin impregnating wood oil finish. With no need to sand between coats, its superb flow allows for a uniform silky finish and is suitable for most timbers, especially teak. It is a one-pack, high performance, low maintenance wood treatment. A unique hybrid wood oil/varnish, its translucent satin finish offers excellent UV protection. Durable and impact-resistant, its flexible surface is also microporous, allowing the wood to breathe.
Suitable for use on all types of wood, especially teak. Particularly suitable for decks, exterior spars, brightwork, and interior woodwork. Primer/finish.
Coverage: 7.5-10 square metres per litre. Depending on surface texture/condition. New wood-coverage will be lower as it soaks into the wood.

HOW SHOULD I APPLY AND MAINTAIN CETOL MARINE:
If Cetol Marine has not been used before:
• Follow the directions for surface preparation from the label/ product datasheet
• Apply a minimum of 3 coats of Cetol Marine using a long-haired natural bristle brush.
Do not use a foam-type brush
• Apply these 3 coats within a period of 2 weeks
• Do not sand between the coats
• For a smoother surface, sand lightly between the coats with a sanding pad
A minimum of 4 coats is advised in this case
If Cetol Marine has been used before:
• Annually apply a minimum of 1 coat. In areas of severe wear, two maintenance intervals
are recommended annually
• Prior to applying a maintenance coat, clean the surface thoroughly with a detergent
cleaner, rinsing afterwards with fresh water, and allow to dry thoroughly
• Roughen the surface with a sanding pad and clean the surface
