Product Description:

Perfection Clear is the ultimate combining excellent chemical and abrasion resistance with superb gloss. It is the premium two pack high performance clear .

* Chemical cure gives resistance to fuels, oil and mild acids and alkalis
* Longer service life than ordinary varnishes
UV filters combine with the chemical cure to give the longest possible life.

Note:If Maximum Recoat Times are exceeded, sand using 280-400 grade (grit) wet or dry paper.

Method: For best results when applying by roller, smooth off with a pad or brush.

Hints:

Mixing-Stir individual products prior to mixing. Mix the amount you expect to use in a separate container. Add Curing Agent to the Base, stir and leave for 10 minutes to allow bubbles to disperse.
Thinner- YTA006 International Retarder Thinners #9. (When brushing). YTA064 International Polyurethane Spraying Thinners #10. (When spraying).
Cleaner- YTA006 International Retarder Thinners #9.
Ventilation and Humidity Control- Apply in dry, well ventilated conditions. Best applied at ambient temperatures of between 15°C and 20°C. Sensitive to moisture during application. Avoid excessively humid conditions, over 80% relative humidity. Avoid applying late in the evening as condensation can cause a loss of gloss overnight.

Some Important Points: Avoid painting in direct sunlight. Do not use unless mixed thoroughly with the curing agent at specified ratio. Contains Isocyanates which may be harmful to lungs, read the safety data section before use. Not suitable for continuous immersion. Product temperature should be minimum 15°C/59°F and maximum 35°C/95°F. Substrate temperature should be minimum 5°C/40°F and maximum 35°C/95°F.

Compatibility/Substrates: Not compatible with Teak, Iroko and other oily wood types. Will crack on carvel and clinker/lapstrake hulls. Do not use Perfection Varnish on flexible constructions. It should not be used over any one pack products.
