Made in Japan, the foundation of the new Certate is its aluminium Monocoque body. A Monocoque body eliminates the need for a side plate and allows a more rigid body to be made and larger gears to be used for improved winding power and torque. The Certate LT’s forged machine-cut Tough Digigear is 2mm larger in diameter than its closest competitor. Combining the benefits of our MQ Monocoque body, and new gear design, 19 Certate is more durable, smoother & more powerful than all others.

19 Certate’s Monocoque body is our most advanced, lightest and strongest body we’ve ever developed for a Certate. Strength is one thing, but smoothness of a fishing reel is often the easiest feature to feel and 19 Certate again raises the bar in this realm. Rotation efficiency is up 15%, creating an effortless feel when retrieving. This increase in efficiency is thanks to three main parts.

A super-rigid stainless steel main shaft, MQ Monocoque body and the precision cut forged aluminium Tough Digigear. The Daiwa 19 Certate LT Ark range of spinning reels now come equipped with a large ball knob which makes for an aesthetically pleasing and comfortable reel to use. The Certate LT Ark has a power handle designed for those who want extra cranking power to make use of the high drag rating and strength of the Certate LT MQ Monocoque body and machine-cut Tough Digigear.

Features:

• Abs-longcast: Compared to conventional spools, the LC-ABS has been shown to increase the average flight distance by approx. 5% due to its reduced weight and modified shape.
• Air-bail: Daiwa’s innovative bail design features a hollow tubular stainless steel bail that delivers maximum rigidity and strength with minimum weight. Featuring a smooth protrusion-free design and construction line easily slides unencumbered along the Air Bail towards the line roller for trouble free line control.
• Air-rotor: Lighter, stronger and more balanced than any rotor system that’s come before, ‘Air Rotor’ delivers a great leap forward in rotor design and function and delivers the ultimate line roller support. Made from Zaion and featuring a redesigned arch that disperses pressure to the lower section of the rotor to reduce stressing and flexing, the design is further enhanced with a hollowed out construction reducing weight, while increasing reel sensitivity and rotational balance.
• Atd-drag: Daiwa’s Automatic Tournament Drag uses an improved drag grease that exhibits a low viscosity at rest, yet becomes more viscous immediately after drag start up. This reduces initial drag start-up inertia and combined with the structural changes of the ATD Drag System results in a smoother drag from the initial hook up.
• Crbb: Lasting 12 times longer than standard stainless steel bearings Daiwa’s CRBBs feature specially treated stainless steel, and a protective shield on the bearing race that seals out sand, fine grit, salt crystals and other abrasives. The result is a longer lasting bearing that’s protected from the corrosive elements that destroy traditional bearings.
• Eva Knob: Delivered enhanced angler comfort and contact, EVA knobs provide optimum contact in wet conditions.
• Finesse Drag: Designed for low start-up inertia finesse applications, and where minute incremental adjustment, and silky smooth consistent drag pressure is required.
• Infinite Anti Reverse: Daiwa's advanced system that limits rearward backplay handle movement to almost zero for solid hooksets with less shock to the reel. The result is the elimination of handle slap-back and the unwanted release of line.
• Lt Concept: LT (Light Tough) technology is based four key elements, Lighter, Tougher, more drag, and more bearings. Featuring a new compact body design and Tough Digigear LT reels introduce a new level of lightness and toughness to spin reel design.
