If you receive an item not as described to your original order, you can return the product unused and in original packaging, and we will process a refund, or provide a substitute, whichever at your request. We will do our best to ensure stock is available for supply but occasional delays may still occur. We will endeavour to remedy any problems or offer alternatives quickly. Stock is strictly limited. Product descriptions, prices and images are subject to change at any point without notice and any errors in description or pricing will be corrected and you will be notified/re-invoiced correctly.   • If the item is available it will be sent out on the next available courier.
  • Delivery is based on standard courier times and tickets, 1 day from collection in Auckland and 1-4 days for delivery for the rest of the country depending on location, rural delivery delay etc.
  • The parcel is insured so someone will need to sign for it, if not the courier leaves a card to call and arrange another delivery time. For your convenience we can also deliver parcels to PO Boxes if preferred.
  • Providing a business address is often quicker and more convenient.
  • Urgent couriers can be arranged at an extra charge.
  • DAMAGE IN TRANSIT: Freighted/couriered items must be thoroughly checked inside before signing for your delivery. Ensure all products are in good condition. As per strict courier company conditions, damaged items must be reported by the receiver within 24 hours of delivery to qualify for an insurance claim/replacement on the items.

International Delivery

  • Once we have received your order, the Smart Crew will email a quote with your postal options. We will await your selection before charging freight and sending your item(s). If you prefer, the Smart Crew is happy to provide the quote before you make your order via info@smartmarine.co.nz.
  • All international orders will be quoted & sent with the parcel's full value insured for your piece of mind.
  • You can also go to the NZ Post Rate Finder for an estimate in NZ$ before ordering if preferred. You will need an idea of weight and dimensions to estimate the shipping cost. This is an 'estimate' as the actual measured size and weight, plus additional insurance charges and parcel value may affect this quote. Additional insurance cover costs are not included on the NZ Post Rate Finder so depending on your parcel's value, you may need to add these costs as detailed below.
    • International Air, 3-10 working days (NZD): Parcel insurance up to $250 included, add $10 for coverage $250 to $1500.
    • International Express Courier, 1-5 working days (NZD): Parcel insurance up to $2000 included, add 1.06% of parcel value for coverage $2.000-$50,000.
  • Some items may be restricted by air or customs regulations, the Smart Crew will let you know your options. Some items may be too expensive to send by air so we can provide a sea shipping quote if requested.
  • Final shipping charges are not specified in the original online order invoice, but we will provide this total shipping amount with the tracking number. (All charges are in New Zealand dollars).
  • You are welcome to organise your own shipping if preferred.
